Mr. Aaron Jeff Pedersen, of Milk River, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the age of 64.

Jeff as he was known to his family and friends, was predeceased by his mother Irene Pedersen. Left to mourn are his three children AJ Pedersen, Naomi Pedersen (Branden), Hannah Pedersen (James); his father Lloyd Pedersen, and siblings Kim Pedersen (Earl), Dane Pedersen (Joanne), and Owen Pedersen; as well as nieces and nephews.

Jeff was born the second child to Lloyd and Irene and was the oldest son. He spent his young years in Milk River before they moved to Fernie in 1972 returning to Milk River in 1977. He attended Olds College graduating in 1989 with Interprovincial Red Seal tickets in Heavy Duty and Agricultural Mechanics.

Jeff loved pulling wrenches but could often be found with his cousin Bryan Baczuk. They spent time hunting deer, making sausage, fishing or just hanging out for a cold one. The kids fondly remember time spent butchering cows at the farm with their dad, Bryan and Laverne. Naomi and Hannah remember fishing, where they caught all the fish and Jeff caught nothing, not even a nibble. They still laugh at the time their dad was showing off on their little LT80 Suzuki quad in the back yard after he gave it too much gas and he fell off the back. Jeff loved to just get in the truck and go for a drive to see where the road went. No plan, no destination, just a drive.

The family requests in lieu of flowers you donate to the Mental Health (Canadian Mental Health Association 426 6 St S Lethbridge, AB T1J 2C9) or charity of choice. A celebration of life will be held later this summer.
